Octane was born...

in the summer of 2016 out of a group of friends that played together in the Akron/Canton area. We grew into a team that summer and put our best foot forward to create an approachable team that is both competitive and sportsman like. We started out with four members in the summer of 2016 and quickly grew to seven before the end of that season. Our team partook in local milsims of that year to grow experience together.

The season of 2017 was a rocky one to say the least, with life catching up to some of our members we had to pump the brakes late in the season and take a break until 2018. This season we are looking at expanding again into a tight nit group of guys that emphasize sportsmanship over competitive behavior. Any team is a living breathing organism and we will find our way to adapt and evolve.

Joining the Gang...
​
is simple, show interest with one of the team members and we will add you to one of our many communication mediums and add you to the Gang not to be confused with the Team. The "Gang" is a non-formal non-official group affiliated with the team but does not require the same level of commitment that the team requires. You could literally come and go as you please but you can use one of the groups to find open plays with people you know and trust. Unfortunately we are not all inclusive with either our team or the Gang, we have zero interest in people who cheat, steal, bad mouth, or lastly play like a dick on the field.
Joining the Team...

is not a something that has a time standard or a checklist of requirements to join it is something that requires true commitment and interest both on and off the field, with that being said you need to fit in with the team both in mentality and maturity and ultimately the team must make the decision. Once on the team some commitment and some responsibilities come with it including being and active member on the social media mediums and on the field.
